Kassie Kelly, Writer

I’m Kasandra Kelly, a senior at Saucon Valley High School. Although everybody knows me by Kassie. I was born and raised in Hellertown and I have gone to Saucon since kindergarten. I have 4 siblings, one of which is younger and my full sibling, the other three have a different dad. All of my life I have never been involved in many school activities like sports and clubs but for three years of my high school career I worked on the yearbook. Outside of school is where I tend to be a bit more active. When I turned one my dad got me my first dirt bike, then by the time I was two I was riding with training wheels. My fathers very passionate about motocross so he wanted to start his first daughter early. I started racing Flat track when I was around 8, and shortly after advanced to motocross. Unfortunately at the end of 6th grade I crashed while racing and broke my elbow which required surgery and I now have two screws in my elbow. That crash ended my racing career but luckily, not my riding career. Now I just ride for fun whenever I can, and ever since then I’ve been trying to find something that grabs my interest like motocross once did.
