As the year comes to a close, students are ready to begin preparing for final exams.  Final exams always take place the last week of the school year.

With the changing of the midterm and final exam schedule in January, students are apprehensive to see what the end of the year will bring.  Here is a list of important dates according to the district website:

March 22- SAT Day

April 6-10th Spring Break

April 18- School Day ACT

May 5- Prom

May 15-16 Algebra Keystone Exams

May 17-18 Literature Keystone Exams

May 19 and 20- Biology Keystone Exam

May 23-25 Senior Exam dates

May 26- Senior Trip

May 29- Schools Closed for Memorial Day

May 30- June 1st Exam Dates for Underclassmen

June 2- Last Day for High School Students 

June 5- K-8 Students Half Day

June 6- Last Day for K-8 Students Half Day

While the final exams schedule has still not been released, an update from principal Walter Pawlowski stated that, “The half day final schedule will continue for the underclassmen at the end of the year.” For senior-exams, he mentioned that the seniors are expected to attend, “Periods 1 and 2 finals on May 23rd, periods 4 and 5 on the 24th, and period 3 finals and make ups on the 25th.”
