Every sport has their favorites to win it all and raise the trophy, but who are those favorites?
In the NFL last year Champions were the Kansas City Chiefs who defeated the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles and the Chiefs currently have the best records at 6-2 and 7-1. With this record and how they have been playing they are both the favorites in the AFC and NFC and we could see a rematch in the Super Bowl this year.
The College Football Playoffs start on January 1 and we already have only 8 undefeated teams left, including the previous back to back College Football National Champions Georgia who is currently ranked at number one and is easily the favorites to win the natty to make it 3 in a row. They only have 2 ranked teams left on their schedule, number sixteen Missouri and number 21 Tennessee, with wins in these games they can easily win out, go undefeated and get in the playoffs at the number 1 seed.
The MLB World Series is almost over with the Diamondbacks beating the Phillies to get into the World Series and the Rangers beating the Astros. The favorites going into the playoffs are the Phillies, who got defeated by the Arizona Diamondbacks, so the Diamondbacks are the new favorites and we will find out soon as game 1 is October 27th
The NHL is already underway and the favorites going into the season are the Golden Knights. The Golden Knights are currently 9-0-1 and are living up to expectations and may be able to repeat, but there is still a lot of season left so other teams can still overtake them.
In the NBA the season just got under way. The preseason favorites were the defending champion the Denver Nuggets. They are currently 4-0 and are having a good start of the season.
