On Thursday, November 13th, the Harlem Wizards came to Saucon Valley. The Wizards are a basketball team who travel to different cities and schools to entertain people. Last Thursday, they came to the high school gym to face off in a scrimmage against the Saucon Valley Staff.
The doors opened at 6 P.M. and the game started at 7 P.M. It wwas a very fun experience for the whole family and the community. “I might go with some of my friends.” said freshman Aiden Brown when asked if he planned on going with anyone.
This was a community fundraiser and a great time for the community. The show included crazy dunks, comedy, cool tricks with the ball and of course, the scrimmage between the Wizards and the Saucon Valley Staff. That was the main event on Thursday night.
The doors opened at 6 P.M. That is when folks could start making their way in. There were also concessions at this event for those who were hungry while they were there. Overall, it was a fun time!
